This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how Rewala (“Mobile Application”, "Rewala", "we", "us" or "our") collects, protects and uses the personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") you ("User", "you" or "your") may provide in the Rewala mobile application and any of its products or services (collectively, "Mobile Application" or "Services"). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. Rewala allows you to create an online poll. People whose opinion you appreciate will help you to decide what product to purchase or what movie to watch. You will find answers to any of your questions.

    We collect both "Personal Information" and "Non Personal Information" about our users. In this policy, Personal Information is information that can be used to contact or identify you, such as your full name and email address, and information that is linked to such information. "Non Personal Information" is information that cannot be used to contact or identify you and is not linked to information that can be used to contact or identify you.
    1. Information you provide

      We want you to be confident that your personal information is safe and secure with us. We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account, publish content, fill any online forms in the Rewala. This information may include:
      • Your first and last name.
      • Your email address.
      • Phone number.
      • Password.
      • Or other Personal Information.
      You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of some of the Rewala’s features. Users who are uncertain about what information is mandatory are welcome to contact us. Note that it is your responsibility to check and ensure that all information, content, material or data you provide us is correct, complete, accurate and not misleading.
    2. Information you expressly authorize us to collect

      We may request permission to collect Personal Information from or about you. For example, if you use Rewala mobile application, we may request permission to access information about the contacts listed in your mobile device phone book when you initiate an address book search for friends who have downloaded the application. We may also request permission to your camera and gallery. If you grant your permission, we will access and or store such information unless you subsequently opt out by adjusting the settings in your mobile device.
    3. Technical and usage information

      We collect device-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, device language, mobile network information including phone number, and device identifiers.

      In general, the Personal Information we collect is used to improve our Services and enhance your experience with Rewala, to enable us to provide a safer community for all of our Registered Users, and to help us communicate with you. For example, we may use your Personal Information to:
      • To enable you to access and use the Services. For example:
        • to create user accounts and profiles;
        • to provide you with the correct versions of our applications;
        • to send you service related communications including confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support or administrative messages.
      • To personalise and improve aspects of our Services. For example:
        • to respond to your customer support requests;
        • to receive error messages about any issues you / your device encounters with our Services to enable us to fix bugs and interoperability issues;
        • to track application installs, for purposes of measuring the effect of our marketing campaigns;
        • to conduct optional user feedback surveys.
      • For research, such as analysing market trends and customer demographics.
      • Impersonate someone;
      • To comply with legal obligations, including to prevent and/or detect fraud or provide disclosure to the authorities when required by applicable law.
      When you use our Services, you can choose not to authorize the use of your personal data for marketing purposes. If and when you authorize it, you would be able to withdraw your consent at any time and at no cost, by un-listing from our Services here.
    2. Non Personal Information

      In general, we use the Non Personal Information we collect to help us improve our Services and customize the user experience, such as by providing targeted useful features and promotions based on the type of Service you seek.
  3. The rights of users

    You may exercise certain rights regarding your information processed by us. In particular, you have the right to do the following:
    • You have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of your information;
    • You have the right to object to the processing of your information if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent;
    • You have the right to learn if the information is being processed by us, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the information undergoing processing;
    • You have the right to verify the accuracy of your information and ask for it to be updated or corrected;
    • You have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of your information, in which case, we will not process your information for any purpose other than storing it;
    • You have the right to obtain the erasure of your Personal Information from us;
    • You have the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance.
    This provision is applicable provided that your information is processed by automated means and that the processing is based on your consent, on a contract which you are part of or on pre-contractual obligations thereof.
  4. Privacy of children

    We take many special precautions to protect the privacy of children under 13. We do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to use the Mobile Application and Services. We encourage children to consult with their parents before submitting any information to any Mobile Application, including Rewala. We believe parents should be involved in the online activities of their children and suggest that parents do their best to provide their children with a safe and friendly online environment.
  5. Information security

    We secure information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure of Personal Information in its control and custody. However, no data transmission over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed. Therefore, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that:
    • There are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control
    • The security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and our Mobile Application cannot be guaranteed;
    • And any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third-party, despite best efforts.
  6. Acceptance of this policy

    You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all its terms and conditions. By using the Mobile Application or its Services you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Policy, you are not authorized to use or access the Mobile Application and its Services.
  7. Updates To Our Policy

    We may amend or update our Privacy Policy. We will provide you notice of amendments to this Privacy Policy 30 days before its implementation and update the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our Services confirms your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, as amended. If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy, as amended, you must stop using our Services. Please review our Privacy Policy from time to time.
